How to Be A School Lolita
Coming back to school and staying a school image is becoming a fashion for most of the female now. School Lolita is a fashion style of the Lolita fashion and i will share some personal ideas about how to become a School Lolita. My tips are the following and you can have a reference if you are interested in this fashion topic.
Buying a cute backpack: If you don’t have one and i think you should choose one as soon as possible because backpack is considered to be cuter than shoulder/messenger bags because most little kids take them to school. They're also the best choice in terms of comfort and are widely popular in Japan. If you just aren't a fan of backpacks, anything is fine! Feel free to get creative with your bag. Add clip-on plush toys, buttons, sew-on patches and charms.
Choosing a perfect school Lolita dress: This is very important! I have the following advices: First, your school Lolita dress should in a acceptable height: at or just above the knees are acceptable. Second, Avoid ankle-socks! At or above-the-knee are a good length. As for color, it depends on what your school finds appropriate. White is a common color for Lolita socks, but black is slimming It's all up to your dress-code regulations, comfort and personal style.
Paying attention to your hair of all colors, lengths, textures and styles can look cute: Wearing your hair as it looks naturally is great. In addition, accessorizing your hair is necessary. You can accessorize your hair with ribbon,, bows and headbands. If you're a fan of wearing your hair down, a different bow everyday will keep people guessing and spice up your hair!

Small Tips to Help You To Be A Lolita Girl
If you are worring about how to be a Lolita girl and i think you will be interested in my this article. I will share some small ideas on how to be a Lolita girl and you can have a reference if you are interested in this fashion topic. My ideas are the following:
About your appearance: First, Own the Wardrobe. Sweet Classic Lolita must haves are Jumper Skirts, or simply JSK's, one-pieces, blouses, bell skirts and A-line skirts, petticoats, bloomers, headdresses, socks, gloves, and Mary-Janes shoes. Second, Hair. As a Sweet Classic Lolita forget about the super teased pigtails. We are aiming for elegance and cuteness for this style. You can do ringlet curls, straight hair, side ponytail, braids, or waves. These are some example of Sweet Classic Lolita hairstyles. Third, Makeup. Keep this very natural. A hint of moisturizer to keep your skin soft, a foundation to hide blemishes, lip gloss to add shine to your lips, and mascara to complete the doll-eyed look. You can add circle lenses if you want but use precautions especially if you are a teenager. If you are going to formal occasions, add some pale pink lipstick and a light pink blush. Fourth, Dress for the occasion. If you are attending a funeral, you wouldn't want a sparkly red one-piece but instead a black JSK paired with a white blouse with a bonnet hiding your face for a more dramatic look. Last, Limited Color Palette. Don't go for neon! Forget about the cutesy prints like unicorns and teddy bears. Go for the floral prints instead.
About your etiqutte: First, be Polite. Nobody wants a cute girl with a dark attitude. If you're wearing Lolita, you are representing Lolitas all over the world. Don't shove them off if they gave you that old familiar dirty look or tell you how strange you dress. Just don't care. This is essential. This is the number one situation especially if your city or province doesn't have a Lolita around. Second, don't be involve in smoking, drugs, drinking, gambling or even casual sex. This isn't Lolita. Third, be modest. Don't wear mini-skirt. Skirts must be 2cm above your knee and don't show off your shoulders that easy unless the weather is really hot.

How to Be A Sweet Classic Lolita
A sweet classic Lolita is a more toned down style of Sweet Lolita. If you wish to become one, read this article. I will share some small tips on how to be a sweet classic Lolita and you can have a reference if you are interested in this fashion topic.
About your head wear: A Lolita almost always adds decoration to her hair, because it would be a wasted surface if one could not slap a bow on it. The traditional head covering is the headdress, which may come in all shapes and sizes, but is typically rectangular so that it may arch over the head like a headband. The Alice bow is also popular. This is a large bow made to sit on top of the head. Smaller bows, such as on barrettes and elastic bands, may also be used if one wants a less overpowering look. Hair corsages are more common among classic Lolitas, as are vintage-style hats.
About your blouse: In general, Lolitas prefer to minimize exposed skin, and so shoulders are, of course, usually covered. Most jumper skirts are made to be worn over a blouse. A typical Lolita blouse buttons in the front and features a collar which is, traditionally, in the rounded Peter Pan style.
About your legs: Though a Lolita's skirt may scandalously reveal her knees, a Lolita tends not to expose her legs too often, as this would be improper. It is generally good practice to cover one's legs at least up to the knee, which means wearing knee-length socks. Other options include over-knee socks, stockings, and opaque tights. Sheer tights tend to be too "sexy" for Lolita, while ankle socks, especially those topped in lace, remind one too much of unassociated subcultures such as Sissy, and are simply less flattering on people's legs.
About your foot-wear: The traditional footwear of choice for Lolitas is the Mary Jane, but similar options are available. A proper Lolita shoe should feature a closed, rounded toe as well as chunky, thick heels or platforms (although flats are also an option). Boots fitting into this criteria are quite common with brands, though care must be taken not to go too edgy in one's boot choice. Another favorite style, owing to the popularity of Vivienne West-wood in Japan, are rocking horse shoes.

How to Be A Sweet Lolita
Most of the girl want to be a sweet and cute girl and i think most of the girl will be familiar with the word Lolita because this word represents cute. Sweet Lolita is a style of the Lolita fashion clothing and this style is preferred by most of the girls who love the Lolita clothing fashion. I will share some ideas about how to be a sweet Lolita and you can have a reference if you are interested in this style of Lolita clothing.
First, Look for lightly-colored accessories, such as purses, head dresses, and socks with designs like flowers, music notes, candy or anything sweet printed on them (knee-highs or over the knee socks). Second, Go for frilly and sweet. You can still wear dark colors, but it should definitely be toned down. Popular colors are mostly pastels: pink, sax blue, white/cream, pale yellow, mint green, & lavender. Third, Decide on your hair. It must be a style suited to Lolita, such as pigtails or curls. If you think you would like to wear a wig for Lolita, make sure it does not look fake; get a high-quality one from eBay. Also important: make sure you have a fringe, and that it does not go over your eyes. For headbands, try bows, bonnets, headdresses and flowers. Fourth, Shirts/Dresses shouldn't show any cleavage, or shoulders. If you're wearing a jumperskirt (Like a lolita dress, but sleeveless), wear a blouse underneath. Lolita fashion aims to be cute and modest and is not supposed to be a sexy style! Your skirt should go 1" above the knee usually. Fifth, Have Lolita-style makeup. Facial stickers are adorable, light pink blusher is a must-have! Eyelash extensions, if worn, must not be too long or else they will look bad. Last, Have a toy with you. This is optional. Hello Kitty or other cute stuffed animals are a good way to go.

Decorating Your Own Sweet Lolita Dresses
If you are a fan of the Lolita clothing fashion and you will be interested in my tipic today. I will introduce some ways on how to decorate your own sweet Lolita dresses and you can have a reference if you are interested in this clothing style.
One of the best things about the Sweet Lolita look is that you can transform any regular garment whether it is a skirt, dress, or blouse, into this popular Japanese fashion. Unlike the Gothic Lolita look, the Sweet Lolita one uses white and pastel colors which can be combined together in one outfit. For example, a white Edwardian style blouse can be combined with a pale pink or blue skirt. This article will describe how a plain gathered skirt can be decorated using lace, welded pearl strands, or bridal lace.
If a plain gathered skirt is not already part of your wardrobe, scour the consignment and thrift stores for one. Make sure the skirt is in excellent condition without any tears, holes, stains, or missing buttons or broken zippers. If the skirt has its own fabric tie at the waist, that is a bonus. Many Victorian style dresses and skirts had ties that would form a large bow in the back.
The color of the lace does not have to match the color of the skirt. You can use white against a pink skirt, or lavender or pale green lace for a bright contrast. Measure the entire circumference of the skirt at the hem so you will know how much lace will cover that area. If desired, a second row of lace can be added midway between the waistline and the hem of the skirt. To do this, use a tape measure and place it between the hemline, and waistline.

Gothic Lolita-----The Most Fantastic Lolita Fashion
We may get astonished about the loveliness of the Sweet Lolita fashion, or we may be indulged in the elegance of the Gothic Lolita Fashion. But, how about Gothic Lolita? This may be the most fantastic one full of secrets. I will simply introduce something about the Gothic Lolita as the following and you can have a reference if you are interested in this fantastic Lolita fashion.
Gothic Lolita is perhaps one of the most challenging styles of Lolita to pull-off, because it takes someone with a lot of knowledge of Lolita fashion to be able to fuse the image of a Lolita with that of the Eastern punk style.
Gothic lolita comes generally in two forms, first is an outfit that conforms to the general shape of lolita, a bell-shape skirt of knee length (or a bit shorter for this style) but without as many clean lines as the other styles. Accessories and fabric choice are very important to this style: deconstructed fabrics and fishnets are a good choice, as are chains and studs. Also layering is key to this style! A Gothic Lolita outfit is not simple; wearing a studded belt over your skirt doesn't make your outfit Gothic just as wearing a plaid fabric doesn't make your outfit Gothic.
The second form of Gothic Lolita is an outfit that has a lighter feeling than a normal punk outfit and takes considerable inspiration from the Lolita style but does not quite conform to the general shape. It is a much girlier punk outfit with frills or bows. Though skirts may not be knee length and bell shaped, they are still not skin tight and crotch length.Makeup of course can be a bit heavier for Gothic style than with the Sweet or Classic styles. As you could probably tell it's hard to explain the nuances of Gothic Lolita and must be something you come to understand over time (or not).

How Much We Should Know About Lolita
I beleieve most of the girl will be interested in Lolita clothing style because this clothing style in known as its innocent and cute clorhing designing style. However, because Lolita clothing style include several different styles so not only is young girls who love this fashion, but some mature women also become fan. I will introduce some information about this clothing style and you can have a reference if you are interested in this fashion.
The designers make Lolita fashion more unique by adding Gothic style and Lolita original elements, called 'Gothic Lolita fashion'. Gothic style is the combination of angle and evil and its main colors black and white present the feeling of mystery and curiousness. Of course, mustard, dark green and purple have the effect. Compared with other styles, Gothic has sort of refined personality of women and romance. Along with lace, ruffle and any girly things added into gothic style, these elements balance too serious black and white. It is the goal Gothic Lolita fashion wants to create.

Pink Lace Printed Sweet Lolita Dress |
In Lolita fashion family, there are mainly three types: sweet Lolita, Gothic Lolita and classic Lolita. Sweet Lolita is the most popular both in Japan and around the world, and is usually filled with pinks, blues and whites that can make girls look lovely and doll like. Elegant gothic Lolita fashion is usually the choice of girls who prefer to look mysterious and modest rather than too sweet and cute. Classic Lolita is a little similar to sweet Lolita in style but choosing more plain colors such as white and dark brown, emphasizing the feeling of elegance and classy.

On Four Styles of Lolita
Lolita dress is a Japanese street fashion inspired primarily by the clothing and general aesthetics of the Rococo and Victorian periods. It is used exclusively to describe a very specific (one could say narrow) look that is created by abiding by a number of strict guidelines and principles (see Anatomy of A Lolita Outfit). Basing on these rules, there have a variety of styles. In this press there will involve four styles: Sweet Lolita, Country Lolita, Casual Lolita, and Classic Lolita.
Sweet Lolita is the most child-like style, using many bows, ruffles and light colors to make up an outfit. The most common colors used in a Sweet Lolita outfit are pink, white, and powder blue. Common motifs in Sweet Lolita are toys, strawberries, cherries, cakes and candies, hearts, polkea dots, and flowers. Light, natural make-up complements this style. Teased out pigtails and bouncy curls are commonly worn by Sweet Lolita.
Country Lolita is derived from the Sweet Lolita style, and is often hard to be distinguished due to the same sweet patterns and motifs. However the Country Lolita style can be recognized by straw baskets, hats, fruit, and gingham patterns. Country Lolita is associated with the out-door work, regardless of a blouse and follows the same modest guide-lines, as well as the full, bell-shaped skirt. The make-up of this style would be very basic, and natural. If you are going outside try some sun-screen, some light lip-stick, and some blush.
Casual Lolita is a more toned style, while still retaining the basic Lolita elements. It can best be described as what a Lolita would wear when not 'dressing up.' Still modest, and elegant but not as exaggerated
Classic Lolita is the tamest Lolita style. It could pass for a garden party, church or summer dress. Unlike Sweet Lolita that is about looking cute, Classic Lolita is about looking classy, and harks back to Lolita fashion's roots in Victorian fashion. Elegance is its brand and bold colors aren't normally found in Classic Lolita clothing. Many Classic Lolita dresses have an A-line shape instead of the normal bell shape. Light makeup is suggested but depending on outfit and darker makeup (that still creates a soft look) can be appropriate.
In general, Lolita Fashion is not about looking sexy and is instead about looking cute or elegant.
